2025 Mid South 50 mile

53.4 miles of Red dirt bliss

You’re in the Cross Timbers eco region, one of 12 distinct regions of Oklahoma. You get to spend a day descending and then crawling out of the countless contours that make this area special. We’ll be riding through the tribal lands of the Osage, Quapaw, Kickapoo, Wichita and Kiowa nations and weaving your way through Postoak and Blackjack Oak forests. These resilient, scrubby trees cling to massive sandstone ledges that will often be exposed by the sunken and shaded roadbed.
You’ll also see countless Eastern Red Cedar, a species that has become dominant in the area with the elimination of natural of prairie fire. These are active hunting grounds for the Northern Harrier and Redtail hawk, so keep your head up!

Leaving out of town, you’re on some classic Stillwater roads. During we years, this zone has claimed hundreds of derailures throughout the race’s history. Walk when necessary!

Your halfway aid station is at mile 28 in Mulhall OK. This tiny town is the namesake of Lucille Mulhall, who was the first official 'cowgirl' to actually compete against men in rodeo events and win. In Mullhall, we’ll have Skratch nutrition and H2O to keep you fueled.

As you circle back towards home, you’ll join 44th for a 13 mile straight shot to the Bovine Bypass, a private land section of rowdy double track. Here you’ll have a second aid station where you can fuel up and enjoy the vibes. After the Bovine Bypass, you’re just a short cruise back into Stillwater for the finish line glory.

You’ve got this! Enjoy your ride and we’ll see you at the finish line!
