THE MID SOUTH

Yatika Starr Fields // Salsa Warbird Raffle

THe raffle has closed with over $19,000 raised!

The Mid South would like to thank Yatika Starr Fields, Salsa Cycles, SRAM and ZIPP and Kuat Racks for this collaboration! We had a great time facilitating this project. Thanks to all of you who purchased tickets in support!

A collaboration in support of the Grey Snow Eagle House and the IRC

This is a digital raffle in support of two organizations, the Grey Snow Eagle House, an eagle rescue center operated by the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma and the International Rescue Committee with relief/ refugee aid for displaced families during this crisis in Ukraine. Proceeds will help fund both efforts to rehabilitate, conserve and protect our wildlife and humanitarian efforts to provide financial aid as refugee numbers climb higher each day in Ukraine.

This 2022 Salsa Warbird size 56 was custom painted by Tulsa artist Yatika Starr Fields. Fields is a muralist, endurance athlete and advocate for Indigenous rights from Osage, Cherokee, and Muscogee-Creek Nations. He has installed original murals across the US and Europe and continues to create large scale, intricate, compelling works of art.  Learn more about his work at yatikafields.com
